Learning Tool/Activity

A visitor suggested this learning tool/activity. Use a manilla folder with a drawing of a wagon on the cover and various sheets of primary-colored paper inside, starting with red.

Cut out the wagon part so you can see the red paper show through the cut out.

For the next verse, remove the red paper so a different colored sheet shows through, then sing the song replacing 'red' with whatever color is showing.

The children apparently loved to learn the colors like this, and trying to anticipate what the next color would be.
